HYRULE CAPITAL

Building things that shouldn’t exist—until they do.

A small studio of one (sometimes more) creating brandable, soulful, and (sometimes) scalable beautiful things.

Not quite a fund. Not quite a lab. Not quite normal.

Hyrule Capital isn’t a fund. Or a lab. Or really a company in the traditional sense.

It’s a place for projects—some practical, some poetic. A loose studio, a sandbox, a quiet engine behind ventures that mix software, storytelling, and curiosity.

We build things that don’t always make sense on paper:

AI tools for strange little niches. Field guides to overlooked forests. Poster brands for towns no one’s heard of. Platforms that help others create on their own terms.

There’s no roadmap here, just skin in the game, a lot of trial and error, and a belief that beauty and usefulness can coexist.

We don’t build for pitch decks. We build because we have to.

A WORD FROM OUR FOUNDER

Hi there!

I’m Javi Velazquez, and Hyrule Capital is where I keep the projects that won’t leave me alone.

Some are structured and strategic. Others are bursts of curiosity that accidentally turned into companies. I’ve learned a lot by doing the wrong things first—and sometimes, the right things for the wrong reasons.

I cofounded FormWise, a no-code AI platform that now powers hundreds of white-labeled tools. I also run BrandLyft and LeadDragon, helping small businesses grow through automation and creative strategy. Over time, I started AgencySaaS.io to help other agency owners avoid the hard lessons I had to learn myself.

Other projects drift further from center—like BreweryOS, RugReach.AI, and CritterOS, vertical AI ventures that solve small problems in oddly specific ways using AI. Or my upcoming Cohutta Wilderness Field Guide, which comes from years spent walking, watching, and writing in the Appalachian backcountry.

There’s also Camp & Country Press, a print brand I advise and co-own, built to revive the spirit of WPA-era posters—quiet tributes to forgotten places.

Most of what I do lives somewhere between software and soul. I don’t have a grand theory. But I believe beautiful things—useful things—still matter. So I try to make them.

“The best work is always the simplest. It is also the most ambitious.”

Past Projects & Exits

Not everything we build is meant to last forever. Some projects served their season, found a new home, or taught us what not to do. A few got acquired. Others just did their job and stepped aside.
